Public Events

As the organiser of a book launch, community fair, trade show or other event open to the general public, you may want to mark the occasion with a roaming photographer to capture the public enjoying your event and to acknowledge the sponsors of the event. These packages are designed for such public events.

Our cost effective options for a Roaming Photographer are base on an hourly rate, for photography services only and a limited number of image downloads from your edited gallery.

Roaming event packages require a full upfront payment at the time of the booking; which secures my services for the event, and a guarantee that your edited gallery are available within 24 hours of your event. The delivered images are optimised for digital distribution only; and a limited number of images may be download from the gallery depending on the length of hire. You will have complimentary, unlimited access to your gallery for up to 1 year; and you may purchase any additional image from your gallery during that time. Options to purchase high resolution versions of an image for printing purposes are also available.

Purchase options for additional images

  • Your event images are delivered in a size suitable for digital sharing only. They are not suitable for hard copy print.
  • After your receive access to your Roaming Gallery, you may wish to download additional images to the quota allocated to your package.
  • Additional images optimised for digital sharing can be purchased for $4.50 per image.
  • High resolution, print-friendly copies can be purchased for $10.50 per image.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

  • Dragon Papillon Photography is a registered business with public liability insurance.
  • I have a current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Service Area: Dragon Papillon Photography provides event photography services for private celebrations to Sydney and the Greater Sydney Region.
  • Booking Fee/ Invoice Payment. For our Roaming Packages the full scheduled fee for the package is required at the time of booking to secure my services. In the event that you need to cancel your booking, you will receive a partial refund on your payment. In the event of a customer cancellation, Dragon Papillon Photography will in all instances retain $75 (our standard and minimum, non-refundable booking fee). You will receive 100% of the balance (Package Price - $75), if the cancellation is greater than 2 weeks from the scheduled event; 50% if the cancellation is less than a week from the scheduled event; and 10% refund for cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. In the unlikely event, I am unable to attend your event and have been unable to secure another professional photographer to cover your event, or there are changes to COVID-19 social restrictions which prevent the event from happening, you will be refunded the invoiced amount in full.
  • On Location Fees are charged depending on the distance from our studio based in postcode 2060. On Location Fees cover travel time and travel costs to your event. Our On Location Fees are as follows -
  • within postcode 2060 : $35.
  • round trip < 20 km from postcode 2060 : $55.
  • round trip > 20km from postcode 2060 : $55 plus $1.35/km exceeding 20 kms.
  • Incidental Expenses associated with organising and performing the photoshoot are charged at cost to the client in the final invoice and may include parking or admission fees, hiring specialist equipment, or additional photographers to cover your event. Additional photographers are recommended if your event exceeds 600 people.
  • Post Production Services and File Delivery. Images from your event are edited and are suitable for sharing on digital platforms. They are not suitable for hard copy printing. You can purchase high resolution versions of selected images for print after you have received access to your gallery. Files are delivered via a link to a password-protected and private gallery.
  • Image Licensing. Dragon Papillon Photographer retains copyright to all images. Images are embedded with a digital license for commercial use and may be used, distributed or shared for editorial, publicity, marketing and commercial purposes by the client or other third parties authorised to use by the client.
  • Gallery Access. You receive full access to your gallery on full payment of the final invoice. With full gallery access you have options to download images, select favourite images to share with others, and even give attendees access to view or download images directly from the gallery. All packages include 12 month complimentary access to your Event gallery.
